check out this poem i wrote while i was sad (i was sad today)

i saw you for the first time in awhile that night

you found me drinking myself away as usual

im just alittle weak-willed, what can i say?

you gave me that smile and said you missed me

but it was low, almost whispered in a way

and i liked it

you were with your boyfriend, yeah

he happens to be my cousin too

i don’t know if youre still torn like you used to be

in a sick kinda way i hoped you were

because i think i still am
