Saw Incubus at DTE tonight

They were absolutely OKAY. The tickets were free, for me at least, and they played some decent music. BUT, I'm not a big fan of the mellow-type music that Incubus usually plays, and they also never played "The Warmth" which is one of my favorite songs by them. : /

Beat "Def Jam Vendetta : Fight for New York"

Nostalgia bomb. 2004, tons of underground rappers, and some big ones too. It was actually a pretty damn good fighting game, and had an okay story. I looked up the character list, and pretty much everyone is a real person, which to me is mind-blowing because I thought half of the people were just created as filler. But, me and my friends quickly found the way to beat everyone for forever. Streetfighting + Speed. It whoops everyone's ass in 1 minute flat.

Started playing "Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2" again

Since my hard drive is at my friends I've resurrected the PS2 and found the gem DBZ Budokai 2. I always loved the chess piece-like game board where you move around and battle who you want when you want. But, of course, my nostalgia goggles got in the way of the gameplay. While its always cool to relive your DBZ cartoon days, I now realize that everyone plays exactly the same. PPPPE is their special, PKG is to power up, the same combos are on every character.

But I mean hey, I was like 10 when I got this game, so I didnt know any better :P

DOUBLE FEATURE "The Devil's Rejects" and "Captain America"

I'll start in order that I watched em'.

This movie right here...its intense.

Now, seeing that I surf the internet in my free time (Read: all the time), I've seen some pretty freaky shit. But just the way that this movie is makes me feel bad. Legitimately bad. Its the sequel to "House of 1000 corpses" which in itself nets it some scary points. While it can be said its a horror film, there is nothing really scary in it. Its more of a "WHAT. WHY. WHY DID HE DO THAT" type of movie.

It follows a family that kills people. Police find out it was them, shootout happens, only 2 make it out. (They pick up the Dad later) Movie basically follows them and a cop who is a vigilante (Read: Chaotic Good) as they both do crazy stuff.

The ending made me happy. Legitimately happy.
I wanted them to die. I WANT EM' DEAD REAL GOOD. And I was not disappointed. :D





NOW FOR CAPTAIN AMERICA

MERICA, FUCK YEAH

Captain America. Oh how patriotic you are. Being all "AMERICA YEAHHHHHHHH" and the like.

I liked the movie. BUT it couldve used more action. Much more action really. There are some fight scenes, but when you see all the nazi bases that CA is taking out and you only see literally 3 mircoseconds of the battle, you feel cheated.

I liked it though and cant really wait until May 2012 for THE AVENGERS ASDFAKSFW:KEJ:KWA:SDF

I felt bad for Captain Murika. He gets told that he slept for almost 70 years, and all he can think of is that he missed his date while saving the world. : /

Recently started playing "Jak II"

I resurrected the old PS2 from the depths of hell (My closet) and went out and bought Jak II.

I'll never know why I sold that game.

Honestly, it's aged pretty well, the only problem I have is the voice acting, otherwise it's still an excellent platformer. Sorry if this post isnt the longest, I havent updated in a few days, and I'm playing Jak II as we speak [:

Watched "Rise of the Planet of the Apes"

Lemme just say that its intense. I was scared of chimpanzees and gorillas beforehand, but now they're up there on my list of fears just below aliens, zombies, and pirates. The movie is a solid 8/10, but there's really nothing to say about it. The CGI monkeys looked phenomenal, and James Franco played a likeable human protagonist.

SPOILERS BELOW, WELL KINDA SPOILERS I GUESS BUT YOU KNEW IT WAS GONNA HAPPEN IN THE TRAILER

When the whole police force is getting its shit packed by the gorillas from below the bridge and the chimps on the ropes up top of the bridge, nobody seemed to shoot their guns. A few did sure, but after they unloaded on the bus like idiots, they basically turned into mindless mooks that were set out on a silver platter for the monkeys to gobbled right up (No, no monkeys ate anyone). But like, if I was one of those cops, I would be going rambo on their asses with whatever I had (gun-wise) Those bros with the horses had more testicles than the SWAT team : /

Just watched "Cowboys & Aliens"

7.5 out of 10.

It was a pretty solid action flick. It was interesting, had a likable cast, and was all-around a good movie. Believe me, this could've been SO MUCH WORSE. Basically, its Daniel Craig finding out about his past (Cause it was erased) and fighting aliens and stuff with Harrison Ford and a few other people. If you've got an extra 10 bucks go see this movie! Nothing else is really out right now...cept the Smurfs....

But I think the whole "Gold as a fuel source" was dumb though. Also, when Harrison Ford gave that kid the knife, you knew damn well he was gonna use that to stab an alien. Oh! And Daniel Craig played a great cowboy, as did Harrison Ford. They were both likable characters and both acted really well. The supporting cast was also good, with the Bartender, the Indian Chief, the Indian Cattle rustler, that chick, and the kid (Just cause you dont catch their names doesnt mean they didnt do a good job at acting). I liked it, and if you're into actiony-sci-fi films, definitely go see it.
